Book 31 of 2011: The Paris Wife

I actually finished this before Christmas, and I’m now 3/4 of the way through ‘Death Comes to Pemberley”.

It was decent. Not spectacular, but comforting to read. It’s a fictional account of Hadley’s relationship with Hemingway in Paris in the 20s. It seems pretty reasonable, accuracy wise, though I’m afraid they portray pretty much everyone in an unflattering light, especially Hemingway and Hadley.

Overall I’d probably give it a 6.5/10. Not bad, but not great.
